Min forskning handlar om hur vi kan förbygga så kallade icke smittsamma sjukdomar. Dessa inkluderar bland annat de flesta cancerformer, hjärt-kärlsjukdomar, astma och allergi. Gemensamt för dessa sjukdomar är att de är kopplade till både ärftlighet och den miljö vi utsatts för, de är ofta kroniska och kan drabba oss när som helst i livet.
