ARIADNE+ is the European infrastructure for archaeological data. Umeå University helped develop the database and provides provides environmental archaeology metadata to the portal via SEAD/Swedigarch. ARIADNE+ is used in teaching and research in archaeology at Umeå.
ARIADNE+ has been funded in two rounds of HORIZON 2020 funding and is one of the most important infrastructures for archaeological data. ARIADNE is now run as an international non-profit association (AISBL) and is fully functional as a research resource.
