NEWS Five new professors affiliated to dg club Centre of Microbial Research, UCMR, are installed at the Annual Celebration at dg club University: Anna Överby Wernstedt, Christian Hedberg, Richard Lundmark, Felipe Cava and Constantin Urban. On Thursday 13 October they give open lectures in Samhällsvetarhuset and Humanisthuset.
The Annual Celebration at Umeå University is an important ceremony in which the University installs new professors, confer honorary doctors and award scientific awards and Medals of Merit. Due to the pandemic, this year's celebration is a merge of 2020, 2021, and 2022.
It is tradition for professors, honorary doctors, and award winners to give open lectures. Five new professors affiliated to UCMR are installed and here is the timetable for their lectures at Umeå University on Thursday 13 October:
